Move through "stagnation" with ease.

THE CALL OF THE DANCING CRANE

This week's oracle is about moving through "muddy" water with ease, elegance and grace.

There are times when our life becomes stagnant. This card invites us to embrace new habits and patterns that are aligned with what we'd like to create in our lives.

The old stories about our self-worth, abundance, health, relationships, judgments of ourselves or others, no longer supports us. We are allowed to change them. We are more powerful than the "pull" of our past. They are just stories. Make up a new story, one where you have a better part.

This card tells us our intuition is right, we need to change a situation, move a different way, connect with another group to feel more inspiration. The inkling that we need some sort of "movement" through the stagnation is confirmed by the "Dancing Crane."

Make your move.

:: P A T I E N C E :: Yes, please.

A strong commitment to self-care is a good place to begin. A solid foundation helps to to find comfort in the uncomfortable. Be less reactive. Be more in the moment. Just be. Watch the video below as I explain two tools that help me. Scroll down for a full list of tips.

SELF-CARE TIPS // PATIENCE

1. So many of us hold emotions in our belly. We always talk about listening to our gut, but try some supportive tools to soothe your tummy too. During a time of transition, avoid overindulging in anything that triggers your body. Listen to the cues and clues. The sensations you feel are telling you something. Pay attention. My triggers are caffeine, garlic, chocolate, peppers, alcohol, and my beloved jalepeno chips.

Rub your belly with an essential oil blend. My favorite is Digestizen by DoTerra. It has Ginger Rhizome/Root, Peppermint Plant, Caraway Seed, Coriander Seed, Anise Seed, Tarragon Plant, and Fennel Seed essential oils. Also try diffusing Peppermint, Lemon and Ginger in your house, car, or office.

I find that rubbing soothing Peppermint oil on my temples and at my brain stem when I'm being super reactive or hot-headed cools me right down .

2. If you're so stressed and can't do much else, at least sleep with a calming crystal under your pillow. I recommend a polished palm stone. The nice, cold surface feels great against your hand. Peach Moonstone brings balance to your emotional body and connects you to the moon's energy, heightening your intuition. It's a sweet, calming, and soothing stone.

3. Start a super easy daily gratitude practice. It's as simple as brushing your teeth. In the morning, while you're brushing, think of the things that bring joy, love and happiness to your life. Feel the connection to that sense of joy, love and happiness. Smile. Take a deep breath. Do it again before you fall asleep. This has been such a game changer for me. I hope it is for you too! Take it a step further with this set I created for my own practice.

The "act" of writing them on the white stones and connecting visually throughout the day elevates the practice, and helps you connect and attract more of what you are grateful for. It's one of my favorite self-care routines. Btw, I use a pencil or gel ink which soaks off in water when I wish to change them.

4. Sometimes we lose patience because we're over-analyzing and stuck in a "monkey" mind state of being, jumping from thought to thought and worried about how we'll accomplish everything on our to-do list. When that happens, I like to work with Yellow Calcite. I prefer holding a nice polished sphere, as it's perfectly sized for my hand which makes it easy to work with. I'll hold it while I'm talking on the phone or even walking the dogs. It has such a nice weight to it. It's as nice as the weight of an eye pillow on your eyes, very cozy and great for the nerve endings. It's a safe grounding feeling.  Yellow Calcite builds confidence. It's also perfectly suited for an over-analytical mind or pessimistic mood. It carries an optimistic energy. Self-care can be preventative too. So the night before a busy day, I'll hold one in each hand while I'm watching TV.

5. Nothing helps instill patience like a visual reminder of utter calm and serenity. I created these Zen Gardens for exactly that. Display it in a prominent area of your house, put it on your desk in your office, or place it on your altar. Program the Clear Quartz with your intention or wish.  Then every time you catch it in your view, remind yourself to take a few deep belly breaths.  Better yet, sit in front of it for a quick three to five minute meditation and build up to a daily meditation practice with it in your line of sight.

:: G R A T I T U D E :: Water Ceremony

Last weekend's online Circles allowed us to bloom, as we grow and connect across the United States.

Last week, as the Summer Solstice was upon us in the Norther Hemisphere and the school year ended, we took to the beach as often as possible to lay by the ocean waves and soak in all the goodness Mother Nature provides. We're at the mid-year mark and nature is in full bloom.  The sun is at its height. Life is vivid. Life is fun. As Alexandra Roxo says, "this is the year's orgasm." Get out and enjoy it.

My kids played in the sand and made friends for the day digging for treasures and running free in the surf.

The inspiration in nature abounds. It's amazing what a little fresh air can do for your creativity. While I was floating in the water letting the waves roll over me, I was motivated to create a Gratitude Set with sea stones from the beach. Its beauty is both simple and stunning, just like the ocean itself. In pretty pink gel ink I wrote my wishes on the smooth white stones and laid them on top of the lions paw shell. I loved it so much, I  created set for you. I have a few left in the shop.

After filling up on the good vibes at the shore, I planned by weekend's events. I set out to create a water centerpiece for our New Moon Circle in honor the Cancer crab but not just any water, "special" water. As Dr. Emoto said, "human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water."

During our Circle at the beginning of the year we attached our wishes and intentions to reiki-infused water and filled it with luck, abundance and success (aka Aventurine crystals to bring all that we desire into our life for the first half of the year). Now it was time to infuse a little more for the second half.

I poured this "aged" - LOL water into the vessel to infuse our gathering with strong Good Vibe Tribe consciousness. I added gratitude blessings and wishing stones to invoke potency for the second half of the year as I performed reiki among the flowers and candles.

This was symbolic of how much you all have "filled" me up and nourished my vision of creating a commUNITY.

Our energy is boundless.

Thank you all.
